my day started a bit dull, class was class and I couldn't wait to get the fuck out of there. I ran over to the palladium because I could finally catch a glimpse of my good friend sam. she's a huge morrissey fan so I went to go visit her in all of this hectic line thing going on. she wanted me to take pictures of the palladium before they tear it down for renovation. I have to admit, I expected the crowd to be a bit different but you can tell the difference between an actual fan and the ones that are just arriving and believe that 'suedehead' is quite possibly the greatest song that he has ever written. she asked me for a favor, to come back and save her a spot. I didn't mind really but it was the fact that I was so worried that maybe just MAYBE they were going to attack me and tell me that i'm not worthy of standing there or some other shit. eh, wasn't really interested by the time I got there. after I stood in hollywood for a good 30 minutes I bounced up out of there and headed to the beach with some of my other friends. she is going to camp out for most of the nights, I seriously want to try it. the dedication of these fans, the love for morrissey...it's just...it's beautiful. at first I thought it creepy but now I understand why people are the way that they are.
now tomorrow I have a full day, my nieces party and then this other party that a friend has invited me to. ah, how many days to go till my birthday? I dont know, I don't want to keep count.
side note: los angeles is so small that I can run into my old boss on the street. big city but you're always connected.
